Went hunting for art today...

We've been cursed with cloud-free skies for about a week, so when clouds started to form this morning over Waco, I knew I'd have the urge to put my near-infra-red filter on my D100 and head out to capture puffy white clouds against a black (or at least dark) sky. I sent the pic on this blog entry to a local television station (KXXV) that used it during the weather segment -- billed as "one of the most artist weather pictures they've ever received" (grin). Sadly, I missed out on the real action, which occurred east of I-35, while I was searching for weather formations on the west side. If I am diligent on Saturday, the same area where I was hunting today will have a slew of storms to photograph.
