I took a bit of a chance recently by investing in the new lighting gizmo from Paul C. Buff's Alien Bees company -- the ABR800 ringlight. As owner of one of the first 1,200 units, I am effectively a beta tester. At first, I was apprehensive over the situation, but the company is doing such a great job at being open to feedback and to refining the gizmo that I feel like they have my back at every step. I love the unit and the mods are quick to ship. It's like Christmas every few weeks when a newly improved part for the ABR800 arrives! Can't wait to take delivery of the Moon Unit!
